Hon. Silas Patrick Dung’s political career reached a significant milestone as friends and supporters gathered at his residence to present him with a nomination form, urging him to run for the chairmanship of Jos South Local Government Area (LGA).

Representatives from five districts within Jos South LGA attended the event, showcasing the broad support for his potential candidacy. Hon. Simon Tibil elaborated on their decision, highlighting Hon. Silas Patrick Dung’s commitment to the well-being of Jos South’s people.

Hon. Silas Patrick Dung expressed surprise and gratitude for the overwhelming support. He emphasized the importance of campaigning with decorum and respect, acknowledging that ultimate leadership is bestowed by God. He also hinted at plans to bring positive change to Jos South LGA if given the opportunity to serve.

Following the event, Hon. Silas Patrick Dung sought the blessings of elderly statesman Dara Jonah David Jang, a critical stakeholder in the state. Jang appreciated his presence and offered his blessings.
