The Deputy Governor of Plateau State, Her Excellency Ngo Josephine Chundung Piyo, has emphasized that women remain a vital force in governance and must never be underestimated in leadership and decision-making.

She made this known during a strategic meeting with female appointees of Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, convened to promote unity and strengthen support for the “Time Is Now” administration.

Hon. Piyo expressed appreciation to the Governor for his deliberate and commendable efforts in promoting gender balance, noting that the inclusion of women in governance reflects confidence in their abilities and contributions.

She stressed that women play critical roles in societal development and governance, adding that their impact is essential to achieving inclusive and sustainable progress in Plateau State.

The Deputy Governor charged the female appointees to remain united and focused, describing unity, loyalty, and collaboration as key pillars for building a stronger and more cohesive state.

Hon. Piyo assured the appointees of her continuous support, stating that her office remains open to provide guidance, listen to concerns, and work closely with them in advancing the development agenda of Plateau State.
