Former Coordinator of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Zone C, Comrade Daniel Friday Egga, CNS, has extended warm congratulations to Hon. Bitrus Lawrence Garki, Mandate Secretary of the Abuja Area Council Services Secretariat, on his appointment as Director, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) of the City Boy Movement.
In a congratulatory statement made available to the press, Comrade Egga described the appointment as well-deserved, noting that it is a clear testament to Hon. Garki’s exceptional leadership capacity, dedication to public service, and unwavering commitment to grassroots development and inclusive governance within the FCT.
According to him, the City Boy Movement has continued to play a strategic role in promoting, supporting, and advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, adding that Hon. Garki’s emergence as Director will further consolidate the movement’s reach, effectiveness, and impact across the Federal Capital Territory.
Comrade Egga emphasized that Hon. Garki’s wealth of experience in governance and public administration uniquely positions him to provide purpose-driven leadership, mobilize broad-based support, deepen civic participation, and contribute meaningfully to the actualization of the Renewed Hope vision.
