Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
To my Dear Muslim brothers and sisters in Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency of Plateau State, and indeed Nigeria and around the world, Eid Mubarak. I pray that Allah (SWT) accepts our supplications, sacrifices, and sincere acts of worship. May He grant us peace in our hearts, unity in our families, and stability in our nation.
Eid-el-Kabir is not about festivity alone. It is a divine reminder that the truest form of sacrifice is not in the slaughtering of animals, but in the quiet surrender of ego, pride, selfishness, and personal comfort for the sake of others. It is about giving when it hurts, standing tall when others are falling, and doing good even when no one is watching.
That is why I have chosen to mark this year’s Eid by extending over Eighty Million Naira (₦80,000,000) in support to our people across the Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency. This gesture cuts across party structures, religious organizations, traditional institutions, youth and women groups, community influencers, and—most importantly—the downtrodden among us who might have otherwise gone through this holy season in silence and pain.
In addition, I facilitated the distribution of 71 rams to revered Islamic clerics and traditional rulers as a symbol of gratitude, partnership, and shared responsibility in shaping a better, more compassionate society.
My dear Constituents, leadership to me is not in the noise of titles, but in the silence of impact—how many hearts are healed, how many tables are fed, how many lives are touched. That is what I owe you. That is what I strive to do.
So, let this Eid inspire us to forgive without conditions, give without seeking praises, and serve without excuses. Let us be mirrors of the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and true servants to humanity in our own time.
Once again, Eid Mubarak to every Muslim soul across Nigeria and beyond. May Allah bless PKK, Plateau State, and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
