In a significant move to support education, Mr. Na’anshak Simon Lalong, son of the senator representing Plateau South, has sponsored the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) registration fees for over 100 students across six local government areas: Shendam, Quaanpan, Mikang, Langtang North, Langtang South, and Wase.
The initiative, aimed at easing financial burdens for students and their families, has been widely applauded by school principals, teachers, and community members. During a ceremony at Government Secondary School, Shendam, Mr. Boeplong Danjuma Waziri, representing Na’anshak, emphasized that this is the first of many planned interventions to support education and welfare in Plateau South.
The sponsorship is expected to provide underprivileged students with the opportunity to pursue higher education, reflecting Na’anshak’s commitment to empowering the younger generation.
