Supporters of Rt. Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, member representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency, have collectively funded his nomination and expression of interest forms ahead of the next general election.
The initiative, driven largely by constituents and youths, reportedly began about one and a half years ago, reflecting early grassroots support for the lawmaker’s third-term bid.
The forms were formally presented at his private office in Utako, Abuja, by representatives of the group, including former Senior Legislative Aides from the 9th Assembly. Among them was Mr. Saminu Maigoro of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency.
Describing the development as a “mandate,” Gagdi expressed appreciation for the support and pledged to uphold the trust placed in him by his constituents.
He is expected to complete the process by submitting the forms to the national secretariat of the All Progressives Congress in the coming days.
