The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has said Plateau State will give President Bola Tinubu one million votes in the 2027 general elections.

He said this while speaking about the growing strength of the APC and the collapse of opposition parties in the state.

Prof. Yilwatda made the statement during an APC stakeholders’ meeting for the Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam (PKK) Federal Constituency.

The meeting was held in Pankshin, Plateau State, on Tuesday.

He said the APC is now much stronger in Plateau State than it was during the 2023 elections.

According to him, political forces that once challenged the party have now joined the APC.

“All the stumbling blocks we had in 2023 are no longer there,” he said.

“Those who opposed us then have joined us now, including the Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang, commissioners, local government chairmen and other political appointees.”

“With this, Plateau will deliver one million votes for Mr President,” he added.

Prof. Yilwatda said PKK is a traditional stronghold of the APC, noting that President Tinubu recorded some of his highest votes in the area during the 2023 presidential election.
