In a bold demonstration of responsive and compassionate leadership, Hon. Yusuf Gagdi has once again proven that representation goes beyond rhetoric. In fulfilment of his earlier pledge to support victims of kidnapping, banditry, and other security challenges in the Garga area, relief materials valued at over ₦40 million have been procured and are now set for distribution to affected persons.

At a time when insecurity has disrupted livelihoods and displaced families, this intervention offers not just material assistance, but hope and reassurance to a people yearning for stability.

Transparency and Accountability at the Core

Beyond food supplies, the inclusion of cement and motorcycles reflects a forward-looking approach supporting not only immediate welfare but also rebuilding efforts and economic mobility within the community.

Structured and Credible Distribution Process

To guarantee fairness and credibility, a comprehensive list of verified victims was compiled by a duly constituted committee chaired by Hon. Sadat Garga, with Buhari Zakari serving as Secretary, alongside Hon. Yahuza Yusuf Musa, Chairman of the Jahr Progressive Development Association (JAPDA).

The committee operates under the supervision of the Senior District Head of Garga and the District Heads of Munbutbo and Kyaram. Their mandate is clear: ensure that every item reaches genuine victims and that no deserving household is left behind.

A Renewed Commitment to Security and Protection

While relief materials provide temporary succour, Hon. Gagdi acknowledged a deeper truth: no material support can substitute for enduring peace and security.

He therefore reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the people of Pankshin, Kanke, and Kanam Federal Constituency, pledging to continue engaging relevant authorities and pressing government at all levels to ensure that lives, properties, and communities are adequately protected.

In moments of crisis, true leadership is measured not merely by words, but by decisive action. Through this intervention in Garga, Hon. Yusuf Gagdi has once again demonstrated that he stands with his people not only in times of celebration, but in times of hardship.
