Former member of the House of Representatives, Dachung Musa Bagos, was part of the delegation led by Plateau State Governor, Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, to the Nigeria–UK Business Forum held in London. The high-level forum brought together government officials, investors, and business leaders to strengthen economic ties and explore investment opportunities.

The event, which took place at Marlborough House, provided a strategic platform for Plateau State to showcase its economic potential and attract global partnerships. Governor Mutfwang delivered a keynote address highlighting the state’s commitment to economic growth and investment.

Speaking on his participation, Bagos described the experience as a privilege, noting that the governor’s engagement at the international forum reflects a strong commitment to repositioning Plateau State on the global stage.

“It is an honour to be part of this important engagement where Plateau’s investment opportunities are being presented to the international community,” Bagos said.

In his keynote remarks, Governor Mutfwang emphasized that Plateau State is open for business and ready to collaborate with investors across key sectors, including agriculture, tourism, and solid minerals.

“Our goal is to make Plateau a preferred destination for investors by providing a stable, secure, and business-friendly environment where enterprises can thrive,” the governor stated.

He further noted that reforms introduced by his administration have significantly improved the ease of doing business in the state, with Plateau rising from 33rd position in 2023 to 7th in national rankings.

Bagos commended the governor’s efforts, describing the progress as a reflection of purposeful leadership and a clear vision for economic transformation.

A major highlight of the forum was the conferment of the NACCIMA Ambassador title on Governor Mutfwang in recognition of his contributions to promoting trade and investment.

Bagos added that the governor’s growing international engagements continue to position Plateau State as a competitive destination for global investment, with potential to drive job creation and sustainable development.
