Shuaibu Yushau, arrested on July 8 for attempting suicide by climbing the Aso Radio mast in protest of insecurity and hardship, has been released on bail to his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju.
The FCT Police Command’s spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, stated that a mental assessment found him mentally stable but noted symptoms of anxiety and worry. The recommendation for further psycho-social care led to his release.
What do you think motivated Yushau’s drastic action?

The hardship in Nigeria is taking a toll on everyone. Its really sad what people go through on a daily. I’m very sure Yushau is fed like most Nigerians about the devastating state of our country. Well I hope he gets all the help he needs and I’m send love and light to every Nigerian during this time.
Nigerians are hurting and things ain’t getting better anymore. I feel and think he is not mentally stable because hardship Comes with frustration and it lead to mental damage. I’m pained hearing things like this. This too shall pass!!
