Rejoinder to the Baseless Statements and Reckless Actions of the So-Called North-Central APC Forum and Its Self-Styled Leader, Saleh Zazzaga

    0

Our attention has been drawn to yet another round of political comedy and media posturing orchestrated by one Saleh Zazzaga, a self-acclaimed political actor parading under the dubious banner of the “North-Central APC Forum.” Let it be firmly stated that this group neither reflects the true spirit, structure, nor the legitimate interests of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the North-Central region.

We, the APC Youths Progressive Vanguard, a duly registered body with footprints across all 36 states, wish to categorically condemn the latest theatrics and diversionary tactics employed by Mr. Zazzaga in his ongoing pursuit of personal attention, political contracts, and selfish relevance. His desperation to latch onto the APC for survival, having failed to prove any electoral relevance at even the most basic grassroots level, is both embarrassing and detrimental to party unity.

SALEH ZAZZAGA: A SERIAL POLITICAL PROSTITUTE.

Mr. Zazzaga’s political history is well known: from contesting for the position of Plateau State Party Chairman — not to serve but to sabotage — to dragging the national leadership and other prominent members of the party through frivolous litigations, he has demonstrated a consistent pattern of being a political nuisance. His recent court actions against the SGF and the National Chairman are not acts of party loyalty but calculated schemes to gain political attention.

His support for the Green Cap Movement, a known political motif tied to the opposition PDP and Governor Caleb Mutfwang, exposes his ideological bankruptcy. One cannot support a PDP governor while claiming loyalty to the APC — that is the very definition of political prostitution, and we urge the public to see through this smokescreen of false advocacy.

THE APC IS A PARTY OF STRUCTURE, NOT SELF-SERVICE.

It is a joke of monumental proportions for Mr. Zazzaga to accuse the Plateau APC Exco of non-performance when he himself has never delivered a single ward or polling unit for the party. Politics is about structure, grassroots mobilization, and electoral delivery — not cheap press statements or photographs with political office holders secured through backdoor access.

The APC is not an open market for opportunists. We welcome members from other parties based on principle, ideology, and structure, not desperation. It is sheer hypocrisy for Mr. Zazzaga to demand an open-door policy while he flirts with a known PDP governor under the guise of “regional progress.”

A WORD OF ADVICE TO SALEH ZAZZAGA.

Leadership begins at home. We challenge Mr. Zazzaga to return to his polling unit, contest as a councillor, and prove his worth to the people. Let him build political relevance from the bottom up — not by parasitically attaching himself to real party men and women doing the hard work.

We also urge him to return to school, as the intellectual bankruptcy reflected in his utterances does no credit to the party or the region he falsely claims to represent.

    ON PARTY DISCIPLINE AND UNITY.

The APC is a party guided by structure, order, and hierarchy. Recognized support groups operate under the party’s guidelines, not outside of it. Any group — including this so-called North-Central Forum — that acts contrary to the interest of the party, endorses opposition figures, or tries to force parallel agendas, is courting disciplinary action.

The Plateau APC leadership, under Rufus Bature, deserves commendation for standing firm in the face of sponsored blackmail. The party must not allow self-styled demagogues to undermine its unity ahead of 2027.

    CONCLUSION

The APC Youths Progressive Vanguard stands for discipline, grassroots mobilization, and unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the enduring values of progressive governance. We will resist all attempts by failed political jobbers and their cohorts to destabilize the party for their personal benefit.

We reiterate: politics is not about snapping pictures or issuing press statements; it is about impact, capacity, and credibility. Mr. Zazzaga has failed all three.

    Enough is enough.

Let’s get down to it 👇

    1. Assemble / Get Yourself A Small Team

It’s important you assemble a small but mighty team. Trust us, having a crew by your side can make all the difference in propelling your music journey to new heights!

Your small team doesn’t need to be massive, but it should cover essential bases. Look for individuals with diverse skill sets – from marketing and social media savvy to graphic design or managerial expertise.

Imagine having someone who knows how to design your Graphics, someone who knows how to use Social media perfectly, and someone who understands how Managing an Artiste works – to blow won’t be an issue at all.

Relating with your own Team comes with some level of seriousness and willingness to do more and continue doing more.. You won’t get frustrated easily.

You can decide to put them on a Payroll monthly but if you don’t have Money, you can make them share the same vision with you and they will do it for FREE knowing that when you Blow, they will get the 💰 also, they will do it with all their heart. Many individuals are looking to work with Artiste on such a basis.

    2. Leverage Social Media

Be where the people are! Utilize platforms like InstagramTikTok and Twitter to showcase your talent, connect with fans, and build a dedicated following.

Drop freestyles once in a while. Post behind-the-scenes videos of yourself doing anything and let your fans see the hard work you put into dishing out content for them to consume.

This is a sure way to get a loyal following and followers on your Social media pages for free.

Engage with them, Respond to comments, host Q&A sessions, and show appreciation for your fans. Building a strong connection with your audience creates a loyal fanbase.

    3. Dope Tracks Only – Listen to others

It’s a no-brainer, but seriously, make sure your music is fire. Quality over quantity always!

If you really want to blow, you need to have people on your Team who will be dead serious with you on the quality of your Song.

If your Song is not dope, they should be able to tell you “This song no tap“, let’s work on another… It’s simple! However, if you are the type that gets angry with such, then you need to change else you are just wasting your time.

    4. Connect Everywhere (Networking)

Some Artistes feel it’s better to stay lowkey and remain indoors yet they expect miracles to happen.. It doesn’t work like that.

Attend events, meet producers, and link up with influencers. Networking is your secret weapon – no suits required.

Knowing some people in the Industry is a big flex. What they will do for you, if you pay 10 Million, you might not be able to achieve. You need people!

    5. Team Up with Others (Collaborate)

Join forces with fellow Artistes that you know and do songs together and promote it. 2 heads is far better than 1 – I tell you.

Don’t look down on anyone at all. They might not be bigger than you but if you know they are talented, work with them and that might be your breakthrough song.

It’s like a musical Avengers team – together, you’re stronger!

With time, I promise you, some big names in the Industry will reach out to you to collaborate on their own project.

    6. Live Gigs – Perform anyone possible

Don’t sleep on live performances. Whether it’s a bar, a club, or your cousin’s wedding, get on stage and show ’em what you’ve got!

If you are the time that is proud, you are on a long thing as you really have to jump on any possible opportunities out there to be seen.

All these will be things of the past when you eventually clinch the top… For now, perform anywhere performable.

    7. Utilize Streaming Platforms

If you really want to blow and you are serious about your Career, you have to stop thinking uploading your Song to Audiomack alone is enough.. In fact, it’s nothing as the conversion is very poor.

Get your tracks on popular streaming platforms like SpotifyApple Music, and SoundCloud. These platforms can give your music the exposure it needs to reach a wider audience.

It’s a slow build, not a race. Keep dropping tracks regularly and stick to the hustle.

This is the same trick those you celebrate today all used and they all clinched the top. Yours won’t be an exception if you believe in yourself and be consistent. Simple!

    10. Participate in Music Contests and Competitions

Enter and participate in Music competitions and showcase yourself well to get noticed.

Just participating alone can provide you valuable exposure, you don’t have to necessarily win the competition to get noticed, just participate and you might even be luckier than the Winner at the end of the day.

TRUE OR FALSE?? Many Nigerian Men Will End Up Marrying Olosho

    0

    i got a gist for you…

So A popular Nigerian influencer by the name Chude is breaking the internet with a thought-provoking declaration.

According to Chude, its almost impossible for any Nigerian man of this generation to find a decent girl for marriage. We are all condemned to an Olosho.

Incase you don’t know the meaning of Olosho, its simply a Yoruba fanciful way of describing a girl who does hookup for money.

Personally, i don’t agree with Chude’s claim cause we still have many morally upright women.

But to each his own, we can all agree to disagree 👌👌

I want to leave this question to you…

As a Muslim, is it Okay If I Wear Christian Dior?

    0

This Naija na something else now oooo… Many are mad but just few are roaming 🤣🤣

I was scrolling through Instagram the other day and came across an interesting comment. Someone asked 👇

As a Muslim, is it okay if I wear Christian Dior?” It got me thinking, and I thought it would be a great topic to discuss here on Lumidys Blog NG.

Christian Dior is just a brand name. The “Christian” in Christian Dior refers to the founder’s name, not the religion. So, wearing their clothes doesn’t mean you’re adopting another religion’s practices or beliefs.

It’s like wearing Ralph Lauren or Tommy Hilfiger – you’re buying into the style, not the faith.

    See the comment below:-

People funny for this Nigeria oooo 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I know the person asking this yeye question is from Ibadan or Akure – na there all the weyrey people for Instagram & Tiktok comment section comes from.

I’m head of the Nigerian delegation – Tinubu jokes with Obi at Pope Leo XIV’s inauguration

    0

In a rare public interaction, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, and former Ekiti State governor Kayode Fayemi met in Rome on Sunday for Pope Leo XIV’s installation mass.

The high-profile event, held at the Vatican, saw global leaders and dignitaries gather to honour the new pontiff. Among them were President Tinubu, who led Nigeria’s official delegation, and two prominent Catholic figures in Nigerian politics—Peter Obi and Kayode Fayemi, both known as Papal Knights.

According to a statement from the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the moment of camaraderie unfolded when Fayemi spotted President Tinubu seated among other international leaders. He invited Obi to join him in paying respects to the Nigerian leader.

As they approached, Fayemi reportedly said:

“Mr. President, welcome to our church, and thank you for honouring the Pope with your presence.”

In his characteristic witty manner, President Tinubu replied:

“I should be the one welcoming you and Peter. I’m the Head of the Nigerian Delegation.”I'm head of the Nigerian delegation - Tinubu jokes with Obi at Pope Leo XIV's inauguration

The remark drew laughter from Obi, who replied with a smile:

“Yes, indeed. We are members of your delegation.”

Pope Leo XIV, who succeeded Pope Francis, used his inaugural address to outline his vision for the Catholic Church and the world.

His message emphasised the urgent need for unity, compassion, and ecological justice.

Speaking to thousands gathered in St. Peter’s Square and millions watching worldwide, he decried ongoing global inequality and environmental degradation.

“In this our time, we still see too much discord, too many wounds caused by hatred, violence, prejudice, the fear of difference, and an economic paradigm that exploits the Earth’s resources and marginalises the poorest,” the Pope said.

[A MUST SEE] Checkout Five Ways To Identify Substandard Palm Oil

    0

Palm oil, scientifically known as Elaeis guineensis Jacq is a common edible oil in many Nigerian households.

The oil derived from the mesocarp of the oil palm fruit is a key ingredient in numerous Nigerian cuisines, ranging from stews to soups to frying.

It is also a major ingredient for pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries to produce drugs and skincare products.

Nigeria is the fifth largest producer of palm oil in the world with 1.4 million metric tons, reflecting the huge production gap.

To increase the quantity and make surplus gains, experts warn that traders now add water and artificial colouring agents such as red oxide — used for painting gates, to litres of palm oil, which can increase cancer risk as well as cause liver problems.

Alphonsus Inyang, president of the National Palm Produce Association of Nigeria has warned against this criminal practice and encouraged the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) to work together with the association towards curbing this act.

“We need the FCCPC to work with us because we need the protection that they offer. We also need to work with the police so that we can go around with them to identify where these things happen,” he said.

“These things don’t happen in the mills. They happen in places where they sort and grade palm oil,” he added.

BusinessDay looks at top five ways Nigerians can identify fake palm oil which has become rampant across markets in the country and poses several health risks.

    Deep reddish colour

According to experts, the fake palm oil has a deeper red colour than the original palm oil.

This is because certain colouring additives like red oxide, Azo dyes particularly Sudan III and IV, are used to enhance their colour.

Nigerians can therefore look out for palm oil with deep shades of red colour when next they go to shop in markets.

“Red oxide is mixed with original palm oils so they become more red. This is one of the simplest ways to identify the fake oil. Their colour is a deeper red than original palm oil,” Alphonsus told BusinessDay in a telephone interview.

    Unpleasant taste

It is customary for adulterated palm oil to leave a bad after-mouth taste. The presence of colouring additives gives off an unpleasant taste even after cooking.

Experts say they leave a foul taste in the mouth even when and after eating, the taste still lingers.

For several Nigerians, the original taste of palm oil is like that of ‘Banga’.

“When you are eating it, the taste of the palm oil is still there. In a normal house, everybody knows the right taste of palm oil,” the palm oil president said.

    Foul odour

Like the taste, fake palm oil gives off a foul odour when cooking. Experts refer to this odour as ‘chalky’.

When used to cook, they produce a pungent smell that takes a while to disperse.

    Smokes too quickly

The fake palm oil smokes very quickly when used to cook or fry. They begin to produce much smoke within seconds of being on the gas or stove, experts say.

“It smokes too quickly. If you put a little in the pot, like say you want to fry or you want to add onions, once you put it in the pot, the whole kitchen becomes smokey. This is fake palm oil,” said Alphonsus.

    Bleaches very fast

Adulterated palm oil turns into what might appear like vegetable oil within seconds of being on low heat. The chemical additives make it bleach faster than it is supposed to.

Ex-US President Biden diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer

    0

Former President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that has metastasised to his bones, according to a statement released by his personal office on Sunday, May 18.

The 82-year-old was evaluated last week after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms, leading to the discovery of a prostate nodule.

A biopsy confirmed a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5), indicating a highly aggressive form of the disease.

“While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive, which allows for effective management,” the statement noted.

According to CNN, Biden and his family are reviewing treatment options with his medical team. A source familiar with his schedule confirmed that he is spending the weekend at his home in Wilmington, Delaware.

The announcement comes just days after Biden’s team acknowledged that he had undergone evaluation for a small prostate nodule.

Medical experts not involved in his care offered context on the seriousness of the diagnosis.

“Prostate cancer is very commonAs we get older, most men are going to have little cancer cells in them,” said Dr Jamin Brahmbhatt, a urologist and robotic surgeon with Orlando Health.

However, Biden’s Gleason score signals a more severe prognosis.

“A Gleason score of 9 means it’s the most aggressive form of prostate cancer,” explained Dr Benjamin Davies, a professor of urologic oncology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Centre.

It remains unclear where the former president is receiving treatment at present. However, efforts to request further details are underway.
