In a historic and strategic gathering, the Forum of SUG Presidents, Plateau State Axis, has officially endorsed Comrade Nanzing Nanla as its unanimous choice for the position of NANS Vice President National ahead of the forthcoming national convention.
This endorsement reflects the forum’s confidence in Comrade Nanzing Nanla’s proven leadership capacity, dedication to student unionism, and commitment to the welfare, representation, and advancement of Nigerian students. His years of active service, sacrifices, and consistent contributions to the student movement have positioned him as a credible and capable leader worthy of the mandate.
The forum reaffirmed its collective resolve to work together in unity to ensure Plateau State secures this prestigious national position, describing the endorsement as a bold step toward strengthening the voice of Plateau students in national student politics.
In the same spirit of progress and organization, the Forum also successfully elected a new leadership, Comr Younglan Talyoung SUG President University of Jos as the Chairman of the forum and Comr. Luka Andi Amos SUG President Fecolart kuru Jos as secretary to pilot its affairs, coordinate its activities, and foster stronger collaboration among SUG Presidents across Plateau State. The newly elected leadership is tasked with promoting unity, transparency, and effective representation while driving the shared vision of student empowerment.
This dual milestone marks a new chapter for student leadership in Plateau State, as the forum stands united in purpose, leadership, and commitment to progress. Together, Plateau students are poised to make a resounding impact at the national level.
Finally, the forum passes a vote of confidence on the leadership style of the Governor of Plateau State, Barrister Caleb Mutfwang, and also hails the leadership qualities of the National Chairman of the APC, Prof Nantawe Yilwatda
