The University of Jos (UNIJOS) has announced the schedule for its 2026 Faculty Electronic Voting, with students across 12 faculties set to participate in the elections in September.
The announcement was contained in an official notice dated July 30, 2026, issued by the Directorate of Student Affairs (DSA).
According to the notice, the electronic elections will be conducted between 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on the dates assigned to each faculty.

The Directorate further directed all Faculty Presidents to forward the names of their Electoral Committee members to the Directorate of Student Affairs on or before August 6, 2026.
All Electoral Committee members and agents representing aspirants are also expected to report to the Directorate by 12:00 noon on the day preceding their respective elections to monitor the process of sending voting links.
They are expected to be present again by 8:30 a.m. on election day to monitor the conduct of the electronic voting exercise in their respective faculties.
With the dates now officially announced, students across the University of Jos are expected to prepare for the electoral exercise and participate actively in choosing their faculty representatives.
Students are advised to take note of their respective dates and stay informed as further details concerning the voting process are released.
