President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Prof. Patricia Manko Lar as the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Yakubu Gowon University, Abuja, a move welcomed with admiration by stakeholders in the education sector.
In a congratulatory message, Hon. Saleh Zwalnan, Member representing Plateau South in the 6th Session of the Nigerian Youth Parliament, commended the appointment.
He praised Prof. Lar’s dedication to education and service to humanity, describing her new role as a testament to her hard work and commitment over the years.
“We believe Prof. Lar will effectively manage the university with the same excellence she has shown throughout her career. We are confident her leadership will steer UNIABUJA towards greater success,” Zwalnan stated.
